Microsoft Mixed Reality is groundbreaking technology that’s changing the way people see their world—and I was tasked with building an immersive, online experience to bring it to life. The project began with creating a comprehensive page structure, storyboard of scrollable video concepts, and high-fidelity prototypes to translate the client’s goals into a cohesive and innovative design approach. After working closely with the visual effects studio to produce the final video and the development team to QA the site’s functionality, the final page delivers an engaging experience that visually mimics the limitless possibilities of Microsoft Mixed Reality.

Mood Boards

I performed a comprehensive image search to establish a look and feel for the mixed reality story. Then pairing them down to key selects to create set of mood boards. These mood boards helped the client understand the creative direction and the team to stay consistent with our style.

Story Boards

Creating detailed story boards with key moments in the mixed reality journey helped sell the vision to the client. Providing these high fidelity layouts to the effects studio ensured they understood the look and feel we were going for.

Early Renders

I worked with the animation studio to implement the story boards and analyze early renders. Helping them with pacing, camera angles and the overall story flow. This detailed approach brought the experience to life.
